Thanks ray326 05-30-2008, 09:12 PM Like this? http://www.thinkingwithtype.com/ Javajoob 06-01-2008, 08:04 AM Thanks but I'm generally looking to just match up fonts with families WebJoel 06-01-2008, 08:25 AM I never get font families 'right', -as Ray can surely attest to. :D ray326 06-01-2008, 09:22 PM Thanks but I'm generally looking to just match up fonts with familiesSeemed to me a section named "Fonts and Families" would satisfy that need. WebJoel 06-01-2008, 09:34 PM "fonts and families" section doesn't exactly say which fonts to pair-up for first choice/second choice etc-etc generic. Beyond "helvetica, 'times roman', verdana, georgia", I find myself somewhat confused what is being offered other than pointing out what certains fonts look like, showing 'the good, the bad and the crime', and the link to download "scalia" font (which is unlikey many people have it by default, I'd not be using "scalia" in the first place"..) "Times roman" looks the best to me, imo. :) ray326 06-01-2008, 10:08 PM Until you get down to the generic one, which font to list when is pretty much just a design issue. Since I don't much care and I'm not really anal about the design my list might look something like: "exactly the right (san-serif) font", ariel, helvetica, sans-serif Of course that's assuming I didn't just do the first and last. webdeveloper.com
