Can anyone help me out with my website? PTIpackaging.com is the site and recently we have experienced a drop in conversions by over 50%. Our SERPS are still the same as is the traffic. We also had about 300 pages de-indexed recently.
IT is boggling, can anyone take a look and see if their is anything I am missing?

I glanced at this, -I see not much semantic markup for things that could be. -There is for instance, just *one* H1 tag in the whole document:
<h1>Packaging Tape & Equipment</h1>
(with no title="")
and no h2 tag, etc.
Like 'chapters' in a book, header-tags summerize the content to come next, with H1 and H2 being specially relevant/important.
The ULs' links seem to have nothing in the way of title="" but the img do have alt="" information.
It is good that you have some subject material in the "<title></title>", -would also be good if the company name got in there too.
Nothing lengthy, 5-10 words max. <title></title> is an important tag for SEO. None of "Welcome to~" or any of that... this is just waste.
Oddly, I don't see a whole lot wrong here... just a few things that could be added. A lot of 'inline CSS' could be consolidated and exported to external, thus allowing 'bots to read deeper into the HTML-content and find indexable terms.

So some H2's, Titles on the elements and possibly doing the inline css a better way. Hell, that is definitely worth a shot!
Thanks.

It's alot more than that... I'd be curious to see why your site ".... experienced a drop in conversions by over 50%." There could be alot happening here... dead-links, etc. Keyword density might exceed 10% of the content, which often reads "spam" or "cram" to search-bots, etc. Adding more H2s isn't going to wave any magic wand at the situation. I'm just saying that H1 and H2 hold a special heirarchy of importance to search-bots, much more so that say, h5 or h6 by comparison.
Unless you have a series of items of 'equal relevance' that would mandate a 'header level-2' heading, adding "h2"s for the sake of 'more h2's might just be a band-aid fix that yeilds no appreciable gain in indexability.
I'd be curious to see what keywords are working for your compeitors. While "packaging tape" is pretty much what one would 'search' for when seeking 'tape' to wrap-up a 'package', if you dealt with "crazy glue", would people also be searching this under the names of "Cyanoacrilate" and the common "airplane glue"? It would unfortunate to exclude these second two terms if the first term wasn't getting 'hits'..

We attributed that to our target audience, when polled, had the past 2 weeks off on vacation due to the holiday (man I would LOVE 2 weeks of holiday).
Secondly, we monitor our content to ensure it is natural and stuffed and we have the perfect spot where an H2 would be welcomed on page.
So they are worth a try, I know nothing is a silver bullet.
