i have just registered (not purchased hosting) a domain Domain 1(with godaddy),with my new account NEW1, i have already another account OLD1, now i would like to host Domain1 from OLD1 hosting account. how can i process for that, i didnot want to merge accounts, just point this domain DOMAIN1 to NEW1 hosting account so that it would be available in NEW1 Account for hosting purpose.

You would have to change the DNS (domain name servers) on the site that your bought your domain name to point to your hosting account.

Ususally it is like ns1.(yourwebhosting).com and ns2.(yourwebhosting).com

make sure to lock it after you point it to your hosting account.

Go to the user CP for the new domain.

Enter where requested the address of the website to display, you have 2 options here as well, forwarding which does exactly as it states, forwards to the URL in the settings OR cloaked (masked) where the new domain name is visible in the address bar of the browser and does not change to the old URL.
