Can somebody brief the difference between low graphics website and high graphics website? Any articles/links will be highly appreciated.

A low-graphics website is basically a site built to accommodate people with slow connections or those on pay-by-the-megabyte packages and therefore are conscious about pic- or flash-heavy pages which will potentially cost them money in bandwidth.

Typically they either have very few graphics or the graphics are scaled down, put out in lower quality (JPG) or with fewer colours in the pallete (gif).

There's a 160KB limit that Google uses to scan web pages. Over that and it may not scan your page for seo purposes. If you go over, make extra sure all your images and text are relevant to the page meta tags.

Even with the proliferation of high speed internet connections, it's still general practice to make your site as small (and as quick loading) as possible.
