Dave's links are to Microsoft's documentation for JScript which is something that is not JavaScript.

I've had trouble with that link posted by Khalid. I simply cannot find where they document the all of the Objects. I use instead http://developer.netscape.com/docs/manuals/js/client/jsref/contents.htm.

No, it is not reasonable to waste your time reading documentation that applies to only one and only one browser when you can read documentation that applies to all JavaScript enabled browsers.

Isn't it also reasonable to use common sense? In a reply to your post, not a reply to your signature, Charles said you links referenced Microsoft's JScript. Common sense would allow you to assume that he was referring to the links that pointed to the MS site. Your time might be better spent giving the original poster more information (which Charles had to do for you), instead of arguing about trivial details that no one was actually confused about.

BTW: When targeting a world wide audience, IE is not the only browser out there. You need to get off your obsession with it.

I guess at I didnt realise that they were missing any info and I was posting this for a biginner,who require a detailed datasheet.

my bad..

But whats up with JScript stuff...(jking)

From all of your valuable replies and from my own search for a JavaScript manual in *.chm file format. I can say that, till this moment, there's no any manual for JavaScript in *.CHM like which is available for PHP. In the future I hope like this manual will be available.

there is one for IE, But that is unacceptable to some people
There is one for JScript, not JavaScript. All some of us want is for you to make that distinction. If the original poster chooses to read it they should be made aware that what they are reading is not for JavaScript.
