Hi,
I have only recently started this blog and any input will be appreciated. If anyone has any suggestions in terms of design, layout, content, SEO etc. please let me know. I am always looking for ways to improve my sites.
URL is: www.codeitred.com
Thanks a lot!
Not Bad. However, if you're only giving a snippet of the story on the front page, you don't need the digg, etc. buttons. They should appear at the top and bottom (as you have them now) of the actual blog post.

I agree... DIGG or STUMBLE the site, not 'the story'.
I protest the hover-color change for the bottom section: black foreground on red background is insufficient color differentiation for color-blindness. I find it difficult to read, fatiging, and slightly annoying. If this is a blog you will expect to get MANY more entries, remember: fatiguing... :(
You might want to consider why STOP roadsigns in the States use WHITE text on RED background...
I'd try white text and maybe BOLD weight, with the red background, or possibly, yellow text/black background. BLACK text on YELLOW background is also an excellent combo as black & yellow together are supposed to stimulate the most cones & rods in the human retina, causing great visibility esp. in foggy conditions (hence, why 'caution' roadsigns are BLACK on YELLOW...)
Nice site though. :)

Interesting theory, perhaps you could send me a PM with your ideas as I am also trying to keep it theme related (Code It RED).
