Hi Everybody,

I have a client who needs a website. They want to be able to edit 1 or 2 pages of it on their own once I am done with the design.

I have never implemented a CMS system on a site. This is what I would need to put in for them to be able to update on their own right?

Is there a really cheap and easy one to use. They don't want to pay a lot of money for the website to begin with so I am kind of hesitant about doing something that is extremely complicated.

If they want this would I need special software?

Thanks,

Allie

Has anyone ever dealt with Cushy CMS?

They say it is free and easy?

I've worked with it. I think it's great as a simple solution for editing text. It doesn't give you a ton of control, but for simple stuff like just updating page text it's painless.

Thanks..good to know!! So basically if they just need to update a News or Specials section then it would be fine?

The web hosting package I offer to my clients has a built-in site editor which is accessed via the the control panel.

So their web host might already have something in place for this.
