Safari problems

I've just put a simple website together with a javascript action keeping the menu bar on the bottom of the browser. Everything is perfect in Firefox as usual but when I preview it in safari I have major issues with spacing between the buttons. Is there any way to fix this? please check it out.

I also have problems with the menu bar snapping to the bottom in IE5 for mac. It starts at the bottom and then moves to the top and scrolls partially down to the middle. I have no idea what is going on with this thing.
