I have installed Apache 2 on an XP machine and for some reason PNG transparency doesn't work in Mozilla!
The image renders fine but the transparent parts show as an empty box.
Am I missing something in the Mozilla or Apache setup?
Cheers and a Happy New Year to all.

Are you sending the correct mimetype image/png ?
That's the only issues I can think of that depends on the server.
If it's not that a link would be nice

The MIME type is fine and it's only affecting my new installs of mySQL, Apache2 and Mozilla 1.3a.
I can't post a link as it's my machine only, online is perfectly fine!
I've checked .conf and .ini files and they seem ok, just got me puzzled.

Change this message to read PNG transparency doesn't function correctly in Mozilla 1.3a
I've just installed 1.2.1 and it's fine.

Were you using 1.3 alpha, or a more recent nightly? This sounds a lot like http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=186103, which got broken on about 16/17 december (1.3 alpha was released on the 13th)
There's a patch under review, which means there's a good chance of it being fixed by 1.3 beta.

Yes it was 1.3a and not a nightly build and yes, this was the problem. I'll give the beta a go when it's up, Mozilla is (IMO) the best browser.
