Unexplainable white space in mozilla

Above the green bar and below the main graphic, in mozilla, there is a white space, I can't figure out why though.

Any help?

I couldn't get the white space to disappear even though I compressed the document to remove all unnecessary spaces and removed the line breaks. That's just a quirk with Gecko browsers.

This seemed to "fix" the problem:

<div id="header" style="background-color: purple;"><img src=...></div>
