CSS .png Link issues in IE6

Hi, I have an issue with any .png graphics which I use as a link displaying in ie6 with a blue background(where it should be transparent). This seems to occur on images with and without background images. I seemed to sort it out for some of the images I had when testing through ie7, however, now when i view through ie6, the issue remains. Can anyone help me please?:confused:

IE6 cannot render transparent PNG images. You can use this HTC behavior fix to make it work.
