Hi all,
I’m new in online business and looking for a help to give good keyword to my website so that I can get good traffic. I know the correct keyword helps in increasing the online business. If you people have any idea in this or you may have any experience that can help me in selecting the correct key word then please suggest me. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!!

It depends on your website. There isn't such a thing as a "correct" keyword. That's not all a website ranking is based on. Also of importance is the keyword through out the page, alt and titles, and semantic HTML, separation of content and presentation (i.e. using CSS not tables), and separation of content and behaviour (i.e. unobtrusive HTML, and remembering that search bots don't realise JavaScript can change the content of the page).

Over-using any specific keyword is considered 'cramming' which is a form of 'spamming' and can be as deleterious to good ranking as no keywords at all.

Natural content, good linking internally and a 'site map' (Google LOVES sitemaps on websites), good content, semantic markup, meaningful anchors (never have "CLICK HERE" for *anything*!) all add-up to a highly index-able web document.

Use of 'inline links' where appropriate, is a bonus, -any hyperlink that is 'in' a paragraph is slightly more meaningful than if it were in merely a (correctly semantic) unordered list anywhere else, as the proximity of the anchor to related text 'means more' to the Google 'bot... etc.

Goto https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal ,use this keyword tool by google and see what keyword people are most searching for and then try optimizing your website for that.

seo_promotion gave a great resource...you may also want to check the volume of search on the phrase you choose with wordtracker.com and then go to Google and do a few search queries to see how many of them come up with competition in Adwords to determine if it's a commercially hot phrase or not...don't be scared off by competition either...that just means that there is business to be had there. :)

long-tail keywords with high search result but low competitor.

you may analyze it using Google Adwords or wordtracker tools. :)
