Corkboard Lay out

hi i am trying to build a website with cork board layout where in i post in news feeds on them...
i got the pings and the background corkboard texture made out using photoshop...just the inside posts something like the one given in this link

this is not mine but a sample....
i need some guidance and samples on how to go about........
