Hello guys,

I hope SOMEONE can help with this... the programmer who did this for me has not responded. I have a unique reader for RSS feeds that was custom designed just for me by him, only it won't read the feeds! Here is what it looks like:

http://www.answerstotherecession.org/InTheNews/BusinessAndFinanceNewsYahoo.php

See where it says "BUSINESS" ? The RSS feed is supposed to be there, but nothing is. Furthermore, the big blue button's text is distorted and my other buttons for the other sections of my site are not showing either.

I tried following the instructions he gave for how to make this RSS reader work for a web page. He emailed me the code, and this is all I get when I do what he said to do:

Why won't this work? No one seems to know what to do... maybe you guys here can tell me?

Thanks a bunch
Stef

this is kindergarden level designing, start again with a professional designer.

Well yes, I'm aware of the low quality of the site design... but the programmer didn't do the design, he did the custom RSS reader. I was wondering why it doesn't read RSS feeds like it should.

Didn't mean to be negative but there are many problems here.
Your missing images are because they are not looking in the right place for them. your blurred image is because you are creating an image of a different size to the original and your rss feed link does not work. so I can't look at the code

See that's just it, I don't know PHP or XML. You can look at the source of those pages, obviously, by clicking on "page source" of the shelf (IE, FireFox, etc.) What I don't understand is what that programmer did at all for this RSS reader. It was supposed to be a custom designed RSS news reader where I didn't rely on any other site but my own. I tried emailing that guy, but he doesn't answer (I'll never use him again, to say the least).

Sometimes I do get some RSS feeds, but they are not the ones listed on the RSS's URL. Plus which, Yahoo! has photographs witht their newsfeeds, the one I am using by that programmer won't show them.
