displaying non_English(Chinese) text?

dear all:

just got a quick question regarding the display of non-English(Chinese) pages. would i need the server to support Chinese in order to display my page correctly? at the moment the page is displaying Chinese but not the right text(words) i intended. just wonder if its a server dependend problem.

i am doing this in UK, and i have put the meta tag below in my page already.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=big5">

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=Big5"> should work if you have the correct fonts and language packs installed on your system.
