Hi -

My office recently upgraded to MS Office 2007, which includes Outlook 2007. In the past, we created HTML pages and cut and pasted them into blank Outlook 2003 messages and all went fine; however, with 2007, upon insertion tags are being stripped and/or substituted with a bunch of Word @#$%^, not only upon composition, but also upon receipt/view.

Could someone please recommend an email program that allows for HTML source editing within the message body; something other than Outlook or Outlook Express, user-friendly, and preferrably free?

Thanks,
KDLA

Not sure, but did you try something like this (http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/edithtml.htm)?

Or a note I found: "When you are in the new message window, click the paperclip in the toolbar, or Insert -> File at the top to insert the html file."

Thanks, Lee.
Unfortunately, Office/Outlook 2007 doesn't have some of those features mentioned in the article. I've got to say, I hate Office 2007: decreased features and control.

Yeah, most of what I saw mentioned Microsoft's turning off the HTML usage in Outlook 2007. Hope you find something.

Not sure, but have you seen this article (http://www.sitepoint.com/article/designers-guide-html-email)? I didn't read, just wanted to let you know.
