Using Between

When i use between, the range form H-1 to H-10 is missing, it is suppose to show H-2,H-3-,H-4,H-5,H-6,H-7,H-8,H-9 which is all in the database :confused:

your matching a string, so it doesn't know it's a number in that sense...

use a compound key.

With the entries as strings the order is

H-1, H-10, H-2, H-3...

so between H-1 and H-10 will not get those following H-10.

If you weant to store them as strings and have them in numerical order then you must store all the numbers with the same number of digits.
