Hi all,

In order to rank better some deep pages of my site, I'm often looking for direct links to them with a proper anchors. It's always more diffucult to get links to deep pages than to the home page (for my sites at least).

I was thinking that some social bookmarking tools could be a great way to get many links (even if they have low link juice) with the targeted anchor text and to some deep pages of the site.
I know some tools, like delicious are nofollow but some others (mister-wong, diigo, blogmark ...) are providing with proper backlinks.

I was wondering if someone tried that already and could share his experience.

Thanks in advance
G.

If you use them with content that is deeper in your site, yes, it should work. If you have articles and such you can set them up so others can submit them (Digg, etc.). You can also submit them yourself.

Hi LeeU,

Thanks for your answer.

I actually gave it a go for one of my sites. If I notice a positive inpact, I'll do that on a wider scale and over time.
I'll post an update, just in case it can help others.

Cheers
G.

yes we are doing this. We are concentrating on tagging, that is also working well.
