The guy that hosts my site says they have to be in Perl. lcscne 10-08-2003, 11:04 AM I got my start using "Beginning Active Server Pages 3.0" by Wrox Press Inc. ISBN 1-861003-38-2. It was undoubtedly the best learning tool I've ever used. Not knowing the first thing about ASP it took me through step by step and Appendix has awsome references. Unfortunately for you, you stated that you need something quick, I don't think your going to get on your feet quick onless your a quick reader, this book has 1200 pages. kanakaprasad 10-08-2003, 03:58 PM hi! asp is pretty easy. try to build one page which says hello world! and spend one full day on playing with that page by puttin dynamic controls like text boxs, creating tables dynamically and data time stuff. thats enough. the rest of the advanced stuff u can learn while u working. if u study book also u wont get it once unless u practice so learn while working good luck pcs800 10-08-2003, 05:24 PM We did the hello world thing already, but what i don't understand (among other things) is how to take a csv file sent by my affiliates, and make it change the content of a page. Man would I kill for a perfect template setup for my site. webdeveloper.com
