Flash transparency

hi there,
i have a flash file beneath my drop down menu, and for transparency i'm using
<param name="wmode" value="transparent" /
and
wmode="transparent" in embed tag.

so, my drop down shows successfully. but the problem is when i view the page in linux firefox. wmode does not seem to work there... has someone faced this problem? pls help me out!!!

Are you saying that the menu is on top of the Flash file? So when the menu drops down it covers over part of the Flash file?
Does your setup work in IE?
When you say

What are you seeing? What is being covered up and what would you like to see?

my drop down menu gets covered by the flash, my setup works in all browsers of windows (ie, firefox), but not in linux (firefox)...
i want to c the drop down items above the flash file...

Could you please post a screen shot of the problem with the linux browser? That may help us get to the root of the problem.
