Hello. I generally what the name, password and name of MySQL mean (some be quite self-explanatory) but I'm still not quite sure what host is. localhost seems to be some kind of generic term for it. Is there a clearer definition for it? Thanks

Localhost is the computer, itself, also referred to by IP 127.0.0.1.
