For those of you who haven't heard of it before, Site Finder is a service provided by Verisign which redirects users typing in an incorrect .com or .net domain to a search page generated by Verisign and containing, amongst other things, their (paid) advertising. It was started recently and then suspended by Verisign due to an angry response from ICANN and other groups.

My question is this: what are your views on the service? Should it be reactivated? From a technical point of view, I think it is a bad idea and the functionality already exists in modern browsers, but what are your thoughts?
