Hi All:
I'm hoping you all can help guide me in the right direction. I have a client wanting to add an online business directory to their existing website. If you can image a online Yellow Pages, of sorts...
Basically, I would add records (Business name, contact info, etc) of 50+ members with a company logo. This record should be searchable in the website. Again, think online Yellow Pages.
What do you think is involved? I have never worked with databases, other than Access, so I had the idea that MySQL and .ASP could be used..?
I'm guesssing I will have to outsource the build and then I could hopefully maintain it myself. I work regulary designing and developing html/css websites.
What are your thoughts? I'd reallly like the expertise of everyone here..
