Jittery Playback | php mock streaming (AH!)

Hello, I am completely at a loss, i developed a site for a client which is using the rich-media-project.com php streaming player. at first everything was working great. within the last couple weeks the playback has become incredibly choppy and jittery. it's worse in IE than FF... not sure why. I NEED to get this solved and will pay if that will help. Please let me know what you all think and THANK YOU in advance.

Just took a quick look at a couple of the videos and I'm wondering what you mean by choppy and jittery playback. Are you refering to the stop and start during buffering or the kind of jerking motions during a pan, as the camera moves across the room?
When you say it's gotten worse, has anything else changed during that time? added more videos, made any changes on the server end.. more traffic, etc. Anything different that you can think of? Are you see this all other computers than yours, at different locations, etc?

It's worse for some people than others
IE is worse than FF..
