Counting on code?

Hello Guys

I have yet another question. It might sound daft but is there any way of telling how many people visit my site and where they go and that sort of thing?

Please note that I am using dreamweaver.

Your server probably has logs that details that information, and Google Analytics (http://www.google.com/analytics/) records it too.

No, that's done by the server. You might design a page in DW to display the report but that's about it.

Google Analytics is a great free tool. Yahoo! and MSN are also beta testing free analytics tools. I do a lot of digital marketing work including Search Optimization, and Google Analytics has made my life a lot easier. It's also great for getting data like screen resolution, connection types and speeds, browser, operating system, and it will even tell you if the users have java enabled. A lot of good information for designers and programmers
