I am developing a disdain for JavaScript...I find it rather aggravating that a JavaScript code can work in one web designing program but different web designing program requires a slight variation of the same code.

You'd think JavaScript would be more standardized so one doesn't have to keep correcting the code everytime you ustilize a different web program.

I cannot get the JavaScript I used in FrontPage to work in DreamWeaver....I added different tags...eliminated a couple but to no avail....I think my computer is conspiring againts me. ;)

Hmmm..I guess you are right....I am starting to think I should give up on this JavaScript...seems more trouble than it'w worth.

actually, its not JavaScript that needs to be standardized, its the browsers...its not JavaScripts fault that the browsers are written differently and need different code...if all the browser companies just agreed to make their browsers the same (which will never happen), then JavaScript wouldnt need to try its best to standardize the code...
