weird sound issues with templates? DWcs3

i'm building a site using a template for each page made. on the template, i added sound effects on mouse overs of the navigation buttons (using Behaviors), and the sound works on the main pages, but does not work on the sub pages.

from all the main pages (home, about, programs, etc...), the sound works. but if you go to say, Programs>LTraining, there is no sound for the nav buttons. same with all of the sub pages under Samples.

They are all attached to the template and seem to have the sound embedded, so i don't understand why it wouldn't work..

also, if i try to add another sound to a mouse over on any page (both main and sub pages), i get a weird mess of a code that is visible at the top of the page that looks like this:

i'm new at this and am not familiar with coding just yet and don't know what is going on here.
