Hello, Im looking for some screen recording software which will help me make tutorials, It needs to be able to add captions, and I would also be interested in whether the files produced by the software could be edited by Macromedia or Adobe Flash,
Ive found BB Flash back to be good, though am interested whether there are some better products out there, we require this for a couple of projects and potentially many projects in the future, so would like to get the right product,

Besides BB Flash back, there are some screen recording software like DemoCreator (http://www.sameshow.com/demo-creator.html), Captive (http://www.adobe.com/products/captivate/productinfo/product-demos/screen-recording-software/), and camtasia are wonderful for making application tutorial. All of them can let you save the files as AVI and Swf(but not FLA to let you reedit in Adobe Flash). In fact, there are enough and powerful editing function with them. It is easy to make stunning tutorial. The difference is that DemoCreator and Captive are slide frame based, but Camtasia is time line based.

I'll second Adobe Captivate. Our company has been using is since it was developed by macromedia and it has worked well for everything we needed. Camtasia is a close second.
