Problem with Video Displaying in Flash Site

I'm working on a flash site and need to play a video within the site.

The video has been imported and placed on the stage. It is uploaded to my server as well as the video's skin. I feel confident that all of the parameters are correct, but when viewing the site (both on my computer and the server) there is nothing present where the video should be.

I've spent hours searching forums now... Any help?

Hey Tony

Is your video in the root folder? If flash looks for files linked to it in the root folder BY DEFAULT. Just make sure it can find the video.

The video is in the root folder, and everything looks fine while editing in flash.

See http://www.tonydking.com/lipsnyc.html, then click gallery. The video should be on the right hand side there.

Are you placing a video into the main timeline? Typically a video is loaded using loadMovie or from an xml file and not placed, frame for frame, on the timeline.
What do you mean:

everything looks fine while editing in flash.
