cgi/perl/php guestbook

I am trying to get a guestbook on my website but my server will not support perl or php. I really do not know what to do because I want something that I can fully customize and if I go to a website that gives me a hosted one it will almost certainly bring along ads.

PS, Is there any other program/script that would have the same effect but would be allowed on my server?

Unless your server supports some sort of server-side language, you are out of luck. I'd recommend finding a new server...

or you could host it somewhere else...

like geocities or something gives you guestbooks they host on their site
