Missing STatus Bar...

I don't know what has happened but about a week ago my browser lost it's status bar. I didn't click or change anything and i want it back.

I have attatched a screenshot. What do you trhink has happened? i have looked in the internet options but still haven't worked it out!

make sure that you're settings include viewing of the status bar

to do this look at your menu options at the top of IE

click on VIEW
the drop down list should show

TOOLBARS >
STATUS BAR
EXPLORER BAR >

make sure that there is a check beside your STATUS BAR
