Freeware to convert formats - what is best?

I need to convert .wma and .wmv files to .mpg, .avi and .mp3 files.

Is there a freeware programme to cope with all of these? What is the best?

Not sure if these are best, but I use:

SUPER for conversion: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

VirtualDub for AVI editing: http://www.virtualdub.org/

Both are free...
