Download vs. play video

I have a (very large) mpg video file that needs to be posted on an html page, for the purpose of DOWNLOADING not viewing.

What would be the best way to do this?

You might want to check over on the HTML section of the Forum. Awhile back, I think it was Felgall or Centauri that posted how to download a PDF without having it open when downloaded. Your issue is very similar. Drop either one of them a line and I'll bet they can solve your problem right off.
