Threads normaly appear instantly, I can't think of any reason for it not working. Try posting it again.

New members have their posts placed in the moderation queue. A moderator will check their content and allow posting if acceptable.
Your post has been accepted.

If there are no Moderators or Admin.s logged-on, there is nobody to approve moderated posts. Have patience. :)

At the bottom of your screen (see attached image) is a box showing currently online users. As of this writing you will notice that I am the only Moderator online (the BOLD username.) If I were not online, a Moderated post will be held until someone checks it. It's just a last-ditch process, the human-eye checking of posts; the spam-filter catches 99% of the 'junk' anyway. Mostly, Moderated posts are held just until an undisclosed number of posts, a 'trusted status', is earned. Then, your posts will appear instantly.
