Hi Everybody,

I need to put up some dvd material on a website that I am making.

I work for a group of hotels and they want to put content on their new website that they have been featured in....For example....the Janice Dickinson show.

From what I've read the easiest (and cheapest) way to do this is to upload it to something like Youtube and then embed it onto our site. Is that right?

But can we get in trouble for posting a whole episode of shows like that?

Thanks!!

Yes, you can get in trouble because of copyright infringement. It's best to contact the producer and get permission. (They will probably provide the snippet for you.) And, yes, the easiest thing to post on YouTube and then embed the video.
Good Luck -

Thanks...I guess I have to make sure we have permission to post it first and since I don't work in video alot I wouldn't want to put money into video software. And I know my company definitely wouldn't pay for it....too cheap. : (
