This is for Outlook Express users
Open your OE, and go to the OE main screen, and look for the Tip of the Day....click on the <Previous and Next> links...see how the tips, wipeleft and wiperight?? How is this done?? What kind of scripting was done?
Would anyone know where I can find it?

Its not web scripting like html or anything like that. They probably used c++ to make the thing and then have the tips stored on a data base that is hosted remotly by ms.

I don't know how they do it, but the tips are not hosted remotely. They are resident on your hard drive.

Yeah. The last time I looked into anything along this line, it had to do with the Windows tips (Win95, I think). They were all just little text files (which you could edit at will; THAT was fun!).

If your parents or siblings or someone you know uses them you could really mess with those people lol. Its fun editing windows files :) I changed my comp information like the manufacturor pic to Tom Green and it has the word retard above his picture lol. It is fun to change the computer maker. Change it to something like Not Dell Not Dimension 8200 lol or something.
