Problem with accordion spry in IE

I'm having a problem with getting accordions spry's to work in IE, the spry's work fine in firefox but not in IE!:confused: can anyone help me.

Me again, I think I was a bit vague, the problem i'm getting in IE is that its stuttering in the animation. I've taken the hide animation code out of this site so you can see it working (or not working as it were!).

does anyone know fixes, i've downloaded the latest version of spry (1.6) but that still didn't work.
