Couch Potato Movie for YouTube

I'd like to make an animated movie of a couch potato or a Mr. Potato Head, or possibly use animated couch potato graphic, for use with YouTube where I could add music or text or both. Any help on where to start would be great.

What software and video or photo equipment will you be using? For an actual Mr. Potato Head, you need photos or video edited in a video editing program. This is where you would add in the music and narration.
For a graphic project you'll need something like Flash, to draw the illustrations or manipulate the graphics, add narration and music.
Do some research into claymation, that seems to be what you are describing.
