Netscape Error: "Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException"

When opening applets using the Netscape 7.01 browser, rather than the applet running, I get the following error printed in the center of a gray box where the applet presentation should be: "Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException."

To see what I'm talking about, you can try the simulation link at the following URL: www.truth-n-beauty.com/nasa/simulation.html. It's a simulation applet for the collapse of stellar dust into star systems.

Everything works properly with IE. Is there a setting in Netscape that I'm missing? Also note that when I click on the browser toolbar item Tools>Web Development>Java Console, nothing happens (that I can see...) OS is Win 2K Prof.

I have tested the link with NS7.1 and mozilla 1.4, it works on both browsers for me sam OS as yours.

Only 1 possibility that I can think of,make sure you have the latest java plugin installed for the browser.

All set. I reinstalled the JVM from Sun; I didn't think this was the problem since I had just done this. I guess it didn't take the first time.
