Hello all,

I know you can make a script so that you can freeze the browser, and so I did but not on purpose!

I have been trying to figure the problem out but I cannot find it. I would think it's an endless calculation but nothing I can find.

It is not a little bit of script to work trough but I have my program(game) zipped here (http://home.cogeco.ca/~swarden2/updates/). The problem accures when entering the 3th map (in the game go north 1 step, enter cave, take 2nd left and keep going till you find an exit. You will be in the 3th map, (which does contain minor discription errors) when walking around a little (like in every map) you will be attack at sudden times though on this map after clicking the message that you are being attacked IEwindow will freeze and I do not know why..

I will remain trying to find the problem hopefully someone can find the glimp.

P.S Files used in that map: map003.htm, map003.js, fight.htm(+its .js files)

i tried downloading your game, (i found it interesting that you are working with shapefiles, as I am currently working for the Gov't of Canada on reading, writing and displaying shapefiles on the net) but there was no battle.htm file in the zip. put up another post once the zip contains all that i need so that i can look at it. Or just send a copy of the zipped source to:

the zip does contain the file (battle.htm not html), did you extract it with directories maintained? if so it should be in the '\data\' directory
run the PSG.htm that should be in the base directory (if you made a new dir for example: psg -> c:\psg\psg.html and the other files are located in the c:\psg\data\ and or subdirectories)

tnx!

haha i guess i was too lazy to look in the data directory. I am just on my way out of the office for the evening and all day tomorrow. if no one else has supplied you with an answer by the time i get back, i will more than gladly take a look.

sorry i can't help you out right now
