I've had no problem making flash movies before. I've added my own Animated Title screen, and watermark that flies in from the side etc etc.
Long story short, I have been playing around with video clips from my PDA and past mobile phones. Namely 3gp and Mp4 formats. What I would like to achieve is to convert them to FLV for online viewing purposes, but just can't seem to get it right. Tools at my Disposal are Adobe After Effects, Macromedia Flash 8 and Dreamweaver 8.
Please help... Very frustrating.

Since you already have Flash 8, it comes with a companion program the Macromedia Flash 8 Video Encoder. This can transcode mp4 into flv...not too sure about being able to do the 3gp though. This should at least get you started. Google "flv transcoder" for more options.

Hi Hooded_Villian, to convert 3gp or mp4 to flv, i think you can use moyea video4web converter, which is a free video to flash video converter.
if you are interested in this program, i think you can download it at http://www.flash-video-mx.com, i downloaded it from there by myself.
I will take a look. Much appreciated...

Just installed Flash 8 onto my new pc that I purchased, purely for web graphics, photos etc. Then use my laptop for coding.
Anyways... When tryin to access the Flash Video Encoder in Vista. It spits out some sort of error...
*update* Just ran the program on my laptop and it works. Going to have to try rectify that one.
Thanks again.

You certainly should know what’s available from that site since you are one of advertisers in this Forum for Moyea products. WHAT??? Well you list your Homepage as the Moyea site and point to it in every one of your posts.
Look, advertising has it’s place. But remember, this is a Developers Forum, mentioning specific products occasionally, may be acceptable, but EVERY post..??? In my humble opinion, the way that Moyea has used this Forum for months now to promote their products, has completely destroyed their credibility and I will never recommend the products. Sorry I have to be so blunt about this, but please, use this forum for more than an advertising service.

Siding with EFV on this one. I'm not sure why you'd point someone to another site when the converter comes with the default package.
