I am trying to find out as much as possible about this platform of scripting language. I was wondering if anyone knows about it? THe only place I see it was at Zope.org. Is it as powerful as PHP? Any opinion or pros and cons are greatly appreciated. Thank you much kindly.

Heh, if no one has heard of it then it is not widely used and if it is not widely used I would have to assume it isn't very good. This is just my assumption but I mean I have never heard of it. I would stick with the major languages because they are what you can get the support advice and components for.... Alright I went to their site and read the about stuff, it does not seem like it is even in use yet so when it does come out it will probably be quirky for a while. Plus it is written in python, I do not exactly know python so I would consider that a con myself. One thing that seems to be an advantage to using it is the fact that is object oriented. PHP is not object oriented. Currently the only two major object oriented server side languages are asp.net and jsp.

It is object oriented so it probably is powerful but it is probably not very well supported. Getting some technical support for it would probably be a pain since no one has heard of it (at least I did not know about it until just now). jsp is powerful but asp.net kills it in speed. It is debatable which is actually more powerful between the two since they are both object oriented and both widely used. You will get string opinionions on that both ways.

I've know about it for about two years and have heard it is good, but I personally have no need for it.
