I would like to know what the charge would be for somone to help me with my site.

This is my own personal site for our kennel which I've been working on for approximately 10 years. Over the years, from this group, and from things I've read in books and on the internet, I am learning about all the different aspects of building a website that meets web standards. I don't have a lot of time to spend on this site, so it's still not up to par. I make small changes at a time. I did start validating pages, but haven't yet gotten them all validated.

I started trying to learn css at the beginning of this year, and with your help did develop a new first page, that I've not uploaded, because it still needs to be tweaked. I did submit the new page to the group for review and advice. One of the responses I got was that I had a case of DIV itis. When I started reading the links sent to me in this response, I got totally confused, and put it all away until now.

I still want to revise my website so it will meet current web standards, and I want it to look professional (hard for me, cause I'm not one for designing things) I've used tables alot for layouts which I now know can be done with css. I eventually want to redo these pages using css

A couple of suggestions from a member of this group, to make my current site look a little more professional was to put my links at the top of the page, and put the page in a container.

These are the only two things I want to do for now, and since I am very confused, and not really sure where to start anymore, I was wondering how much someone might charge to help me do this. I know if I can get help with one or two pages, it will make more sense to me, and I will be able to figure out the rest on my own.

Once I get this done, I will go back to making sure all of my pages validate, and then I plan to start revising the layout of each page.

I would really appreciate a response.

Thank you,

Frankie
