My table won't go where it should.

I'm new at HTML, so this may be a very easy fix, but...

I'm making a website for my boy scout troop. At the top, I want to have a little navigation kind of thing. So I made a table with the links I want, but now it won't stay at the top of the page. It insists on going down to the bottom, below any text. How can I fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is hard to know what the problem is without seeing your code because it could be a number of things.
