Need help with an image map!!!!

I have an image map software and I created my map successfully, but I want to know how I can make the certain clickable areas change colors so when a viewer puts their mouse over one of the areas, it highlights green for instance? Is there an image mapping program that does that or will I need to do this using Javascript? Does anyone have a script already that can do this?

you should be abe to do that by addig onmouseover and onmouseout event calls in each image maped area.
I think I used QuarkExpress for a brief period long time ago,it had the ability to allow you make image maps and add events to them
