I just did... took 30 minutes to install, locked stuff up, used 100% of my admittedly marginal (3/4 GB RAM) resources, -nothing worked, took two attempts to re-boot to get to "remove programs" and this was 10+minutes to boot (usually takes my computer 30-45 seconds to fully boot-up), and another 15-minutes to un-install this GARBAGE "OneCare"... I'm telling ya all, M$ is out of their gd minds! SOAB how can they keep making crap that balls-up people's computers like this?! I'm still not convinced that I've cleaned that crapulance out, -but I got online (after removing their 165-MB of worthlessness)... Avoid "OneCare"... imho

I've now switched to using Ubuntu full-time. So I couldn't try it even if I wanted to. But, if your experience is any indication, that is a good thing.

Thanks for the warning. Maybe this will save some people... :o

I'm a little calmer now but damn! I get so tired of 'recommended' stuff from M$ being busted! Or at least, it hates MY system (which probably has custom-tweaks that work but they do not approve of, hence, their 'official' software explodes.)

But what gave you the inclination to install LiveCare in the first place?!

3/4 GB of RAM is minimal?
