301 Redirect for Entire Directory

I recently changed my blog address. How can I return a 301 error for everything under the http://www.migthegreek.com/wordpress/ directory to the new directory of http://www.migthegreek.com/scraps/ and will a 301 work for this, or is it only single pages?

Use this in the .htaccess file:

redirect 301 /wordpress/ http://www.migthegreek.com/scraps/

Then, use this URL (http://www.seoconsultants.com/tools/headers.asp) to make sure it works.
