I have tested many times, but I think Mozilla has some bugs how to read HTML code.

Example:
1. I have put the same code on local machine and also on server.
On server was not correct design. Code is 100% validated.

It seems that Mozilla in new version reads content on server as 19'' display minimum IF you have 17'' monitor. There is only one answer but I did not come to the solution. Do you have any idea how to solve such problem?

2. I have opened Mozilla and it works behind windows all the time even I closed Mozilla. But when I start again Mozilla it will not open even there is in CP of windows Mozilla as working appliaction. It reminds me even that I have still opened Mozilla software...

Common issue is that IE and Mozilla show different design with the same code. So, I usually detect IE and Mozilla to customize design for 1px (this is seen only with larger display resolution if you code for 17'' layout.

I think very strange behavior in Mozilla in new version.

Need help

1. Show an example of the problem. It does appear you are designing for a monitor size rather than elastic/fluid layout.

2. Many of the memory problems in Fx are due to add-ons, none of which are sanctioned by Mozilla. Run Fx in safe-mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) and see if the problem is with an add-on.

URL with BUGS http://www.ca.com/us/

I have lost 14 days to check why Mozilla in new version is full of bugs. Then I decided to be more clear and tested. I have deleted all old Mozilla files and installed new version. As there were Ads-on blocked in the start all worked perfect. Than I tested and modify each Ads-on. Finally I came to the solution and bug.

I have heard many times that Mozilla does not check Ads-on bugs as Mozilla is top browser without major issues. I know understand how Ads-on can have issues.

I have blocked CA TOOLBAR 1.1.0.15. and now Mozilla works perfect.

When I allow this Ads-on, it will close Mozilla when I start and when maybe starts, it will notice that Mozilla is already in system even I closed Mozilla before.

I think such bugs within Ads-on should not arise. Mozilla is too good to have such issue with bad software.

Some add-ons will leave Firefox resident after closing.
It's unfortunate that sloppy programmers are permitted to make these add-ons. but Mozilla has an open source policy.
Perhaps, when Chrome adds a similar add-on function with validation checking, Mozilla will do the same.

I have noticed that this is not only Ads-on with bug.
The same is for: CA Link advisor.

the same company.

While you claim your web page is valid, it has 38 HTML errors and 12 CSS errors. Get your house in order before you throw stones.

Talk to CA please. Main point is that they know issues but do not give support. My time is valid (I lost 14 days...)

Please check post of Fang. It is positive that there is issue with Ads-on. I guess that CA knows this issue, but I'm sure CA will fix this. They have very good intentions to be good (SPAM software is by the way very good).

Check please Amazon and tell them that they have validation errors.

Don't get me started on FF3.

When I ran FF2 I had no problems but now, since first version of FF3 it has been a constant issue and the last update to 3.0.4 just made things worse.

I will be glad when MSIE has downloaded.

I will be glad when MSIE has downloaded. The problems probably stem from a corrupt Firefox profile. Fx3 profile has a different structure to Fx2.
Uninstall Fx2 and ALL profiles (make a note of your add-ons and export your favorites). Install Fx3.

Check please Amazon and tell them that they have validation errors.

Amazon are not saying they have a problem. You are. Getting rid of validation errors can help eliminate possible problems.

I wanted to say that some errors can not be eliminated as coding is never perfect (validators have its own system). Funcionality does not mean perfect coding. I talk in terms of validation that they have perfect usability testing, but still validation errors.

@Fang, FF2 was removed completely, the partition it was on was wiped and I started a fresh. When I came to download FF, it was FF3.

The other issues I am experiencing are that the browser completely ignores the hosts file, contrary to what networking software is supposed to do. It is one of the first things that should be consulted by the browser of ANY type because the URL name may just be a local resource.

Then the issue of images, in some web sites they show up fine, others its a mixed bag and most do not show at all. When I have image blocking on, some images still show. Even disabling the Flash plug in that I reluctantly installed to shut FF up whining about it seems to be ignored with a few sites.

The thing crashes lots of times, the crash reporter does not report, it also crashes. I notice that sites that use google scripts in their sites seem to cause the most problems, it will often crash during loading the script. Sometimes the crash reporter will not restart FF despite clicking the restart FF button. On occasion the error reporter actually submits a report with success!

Links... Click a link, any link, because it at random will stall, you could click that link until you wore the mouse button out and FA would happen. Chose to open the link in another Tab, wham, page straight up no hassle at all. And this still with the other tab showing the circulating icon and the "Loading" message and "Looking up www.whateversiteihappentobeon.xyz" in the status bar.

Sad to say but MSIE is faster at present. It just seems on the surface that FF has nose dived and is spiralling out of control. The old saying that too many cooks spoil the broth seems to be the case in this "Opensource" project.

I have complained to mozilla about the issues, I am not the only person to have issues, it appears to be isolated to certain builds of OS, I am running XP SP2 on a 2002 build, what others are running I can not say but if you have same version and no issues and your build is different for XP then that might explain the issue.

Until theirs a major release change, I am going to use MSIE because it represents the least problems at present.

Do you still have problems when running Firefox in safe mode (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode)?

Me: XP SP3 on a 2002 build.

Why not continue using Firefox version 2.0.0.18? I refuse to update to FF3 until all/most of the bugs are out and all the Add-ons I use work in it. I use the same version of FF on both Win XP and Vista with no problems.

I guess you guys will forever stay with FF2. FF4 just went into alpha. In the meantime, those of us running FF3 will be merrily on our way.

Actually there isn't anything wrong with FF 2 or 3. I would be using FF3 if, as I said, all the add-ons I used worked in it. I actually use a wide variety of browsers. It's just I like FF2 while others like FF3. We all will be on our merry way as long as we use the browsers we prefer. :P
