Hi,

I've got a site that loads an animated gif file to kill a bit of time for the user while a set of images pre-load. It's about 25 frames long. The frame delay is set to 0, and the animation is set to run once only.

It was created in ImageReady from a set of Photoshop layers.

It works perfectly in IE, but won't play in Netscape 7.

Any clues?

If you want to to see it, it's at www.hostyourhotel.com... but note... the site's a work in progress. It ought to load above the red hat/frontpage/php logos. NS just seems to display frame 2.

Cheers

It worked fine for me in Netscape 7 on my MAC. If I try to go back a second time to yor site it does not play because it just displays the "other" images from the cache immediately, no pre-load necessary.

Thanks M.A.N

Duh... stooooopid me!

Zone Alarm saw the gif as an animated ad and blocked it!

Curious that it didn't do the same with IE, but as changing the ZA setting fixed the problem, care factor on that front=0.

Sorry to have wasted your time, and thanks for taking a look. Much appreciated.
