Creating a Fluid Glass Like Container (Div)

I am looking to create a container for text, images, etc., with a vista glass like theme. I also would like it to be fluid. I have been milling through tutorials and such trying to find a good way to do this, preferably with css or javascript. I was wondering if anyone had done this before or knew of a good tutorial on how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
